About us

Bishop Dennis Ng Victory Ministries Foundation Limited has been granted Special Consultative Status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2021.

Special consultative status of the United Nations is granted to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) which have expertise and are concerned about certain activities of the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The Economic and Social Council recognizes important international NGOs through the granting of special consultative status. This is therefore an important symbol of recognition of international NGOs. It is also an important avenue for NGOs to participate in the affairs of the United Nations, and to give effect to the role of these organizations in international affairs. Through obtaining special consultative status of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, our organization may participate in economic and social related issues, activities, and international conferences of the United Nations through such platform, to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, and to promote sustainable development, harmony and social cohesion in China and the world.

With the United Nations consultative status, our organization has further avenues to communicate with the United Nations Secretariat, the Economic and Social Council and other subsidiary agencies of the United Nations. Under resolution 1996/31 of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, NGOs with special consultative status may enjoy the right to establish institutions and permanent representatives at the United Nations headquarters and at its offices in New York, Geneva and Vienna; to designate representatives to attend meetings of the Council and of its subsidiary bodies as observers; to submit written statements related to the work of the United Nations Economic and Social Council and distributed to 54 members after being adopted by the United Nations Secretary-General; to participate in relevant United Nations international conferences and meetings of their preparatory bodies, to make brief statements and submit written reports; to be entrusted by the United Nations Economic and Social Council and its subsidiary bodies to conduct special research, investigations or prepare specific documents for the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations, and the right to participate in the United Nations NGO related activities and submit regular work reports.

Harmony Photos was founded in 2022 by Bishop Prof. Dr. Dennis T.W. Ng, the Chairman of our organization, with a visionary approach to addressing the challenges of promoting peace and organizing academic conferences on harmony amidst the backdrop of the Russian-Ukrainian War and the Sino-American tensions. Recognizing the limitations of conventional channels, Prof. Ng embarked on a path of promoting cultural tourism and photography projects worldwide. These endeavors sought to foster cross-cultural understanding, enabling travelers to delve into the rich tapestry of different countries’ cultures and histories, while strictly avoiding any hint of political advocacy. We leverage the expertise of renowned photographers and musicians from different countries and regions. Through the utilization of static and visual media, we endeavor to exemplify the importance of mutual appreciation for one another’s cultures and histories, promoting cultural exchanges and communication amidst the turbulence era.
